Commencing from Taemaro along the coastline: Omata – Te Whatu (Bergans Point) then following the coastline of Tokerau (Doubtless Bay) to Waiaua – Te Hihi – Paewhenua Motu (Island) – entering the mouth of the Oruaiti River then inland bordering Ngāti Kahu and Ngāpuhi taking in Otangaroa – Maunga Taratara – Waihapa – Waihapa Bay – then following the shoreline along Totara North around to Taupo Bay – northwards to Frear Bay – Tupou Bay – Motukahakaha – Waimahana and connecting back to Taemaro.
